Preparations for September’s party in Montreux are steaming ahead and it is now time to reveal this year's theme and dress code… Last year we went with black and white, as a nod to Freddie’s famous 39th birthday in Munich, this year we are brightening things up a little by adopting his favourite colour: YELLOW!
For Freddie it was THE colour. He loved yellow flowers, in particular freesias, his dining room at Garden Lodge was yellow and his wardrobe was always full of items in the colour.
For the party you can dress in anything you like - be as creative as you wish with the colour!
Freddie’s classic Wembley Jacket from 1986 is an option or who can forget his use of bananas and the mention of “one thousand and one yellow daffodils" in the 'I’m Going Slightly Mad' video? Or you can simply grab one of our Official 70th Birthday T-shirts which are available here.
